We live in a time of symbiosis, where humanity could no longer survive without its technology, and technology could not exist without its human counterpart. For now, we evolve together, entwined in a partnership that shapes both our future and our present.
In this piece, I imagine a modern echo of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Just as the Creation of Adam captures the moment of divine touch, this work captures the spark between human and machine. A gesture of connection that is both fragile and profound. The outstretched fingers reach not toward a deity, but toward the digital essence of ourselves, signaling a transformation in which humanity and technology co-create meaning.
Perhaps we are becoming our own digital butterfly, retreating into the cocoon of technology that both protects and enables us to emerge as something new. This work is a meditation on that moment of emergence, the delicate tension between dependence and evolution, and the beauty that can arise when we acknowledge the power of our shared journey with the tools we have created.
